On this Expedition:
I am one of the senior scientific investigators for this expedition so I work with the other scientists and students, mostly in the area of geophysics. I know that students in schools from other countries have been involved in our expedition with the web site, including students in India.
About myself:
I have worked for many years with some of the other scientists on this cruise, especially with Krishna and Oleg. It is a good chance to gather new information on the forming of the 90 East Ridge. I am self-confident and know we can meet our goals of this research.
For Students:
It is important to understand the sea floor because it will help us to better understand the earth's interior processes.
