Jason joined Ocean Observing activities in October 2007. He comes to us from The Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS). There he spent seven years guiding the visual identity of IRIS as well as establishing the look of EarthScope. Jason brings with him over twelve years of experience as a graphic artist and a sense of design that began with his first finger paintings. Throughout his career, the majority of his focus has been on printed media, but he has also been involved in everything from television commercials to producing billboards and wine labels. Whenever possible, Jason spends time outside camping and hiking as well as engaging in creative endeavors like painting and sculpting.
