JOI Diversity MSPHDs: Where We've Been - Toronto

National Science Teachers Association's (NSTA) National Congress on Science Education (NCSE)
Toronto, Canada

In July 2006, JOI is supporting two MS PHD'S students to participate in NSTA's National Congress on Science Education (NCSE) Meeting, to be held in Toronto, Canada.

The Congress meets annually and consists of one voting delegate from each of the 94 NSTA Chapters and Associated Groups. The Congress meets to discuss issues and bring forth recommendations that may be of interest to NSTA and the science education community. During their time at the meeting, the MS PHD'S students will have the opportunity to network with science teachers and educators from around the country, observe national-level discussions on the most critical issues affecting science education in the United States today, and engage with senior-level administrators from the NSTA.

Attending are:

Ms Jasmine Crumsey, an undergraduate senior at Albany State University in Georgia

Ms Jessica Roberson, an undergraduate senior at Albany State University in Georgia
